Constructed Knower when Treasure called the authority aka the police on her mother, Lydia when she spanked her. The police came right away to make sure that she was not being abused and it shows a strong emphasis that physical abuse is not to be tolerated in our society and this was an important contribution in context of the meaning of it. After the misunderstanding has been corrected about the 911 phone call, Lydia sat her daughter Treasure and shared the knowledge of when to only call the authorities over and not when her mother gave her a subtle spanking. Treasure was taught to call the authority, but she was not aware by what extremes.
